What do you think about matching Christmas jammies? Normally we are talking about fashion around the world, but this has been a really tough year, so some self care is in order. Thanksgiving 2020 was definitely a weird one. It was the first time I can remember that I wasn’t surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins, eating my grandma’s famous salad, and snacking on my Aunt Hayley’s homemade guacamole with spicy pico de gallo (arguably the yummiest part of our annual feast). Now that the plates are cleared, my favorite season can begin, and this year it’s more imporant than ever to bring a sense of togetherness and festivity into the home.
When I was a kid, we would get a special pair of new pajamas on Christmas eve, so when the grandparents arrived to visit on Christmas morning, we had something cozy and festive to wear while opening presents and eating Christmas candy (and generally going bananas from excitement and too many candy canes). What better way to take on the Christmas season than with cute and cozy matching Christmas jammies for everyone in the family? There are tons of cute option right now for adults, kids, toddlers, babies, and even your family pet. What do you think? Are matching jammies fun cozy self-care or just cheesy consumerism at it’s finest? I think that at the present moment anything that sparks joy is worth a second thought! In LA we are about to endure a second Stay at Home order…Francesco and I plan to do it while wearing matching red onesies and binge waching this…Dali mask optional. Check out some cozy options below…
